Zara is our social butterfly and wants to make friends with anyone who walks through the door. She loves kids as much as she does adults and soaks up all the attention. Her favourite place is curled up on the couch on someone's lap. She also enjoys a good game of fetch and is obsessed with her collection of toys!

Millie is her mother's mini me. She is calm and loves to snuggle. Millie enjoys being with us or sitting in the sun on the deck. She is more dainty than her mom.

Hazel is the perfect mix of sugar and spice. She is a petite little girl but has zero fear of anything. She is the first to alert of something unknown in the yard and likes to sit watch with our livestock guardian dog. She and Zara have become very close and love to play any chance they can.

Lyra is our wild and sassy girl. She has an endless amount of energy, can jump incredibly high for a small dog, and loves to play! We look forward to watching her grow and adding her to our program. 

Huckleberry is our newest stud. He has an exceptional temperament and is very calm and relaxed. He is compact in size as well. We look forward to seeing what he adds to our program!

Beau is enjoying his retirement with an amazing family and one of Smudge & Zara's pups. We miss him dearly but his owners are so gracious in sending us frequent updates!

We called Smudge our protector because he was always on alert and usually right behind our big dogs protecting the property. He was our first Yorkie and stud and the beginning of Little Yorkies on the Prairie.

Smudge kept all the critters big and small in line and made sure that we were aware of anything that was out of place. He was very active and loved to run! When the weather was nice he preferred to spend most of his time outside exploring but when he was inside he'd usually be curled up in a basket of folded laundry.
