We do ship according to Airline Regulations and the majority of the babes leaving for the new homes will fly Northwest or Delta Airlines. We ship throughout the United States and Canada. We have always had the best experiences using Northwest and Delta Airlines and they have always given our babes the most appropriate care we can rely upon. We ship out of Sioux Falls, SD or Watertown, SD.
Shipping arrangements can only be scheduled for a maximum of 10 days out and they need 24 hours prior to booking. The rate for shipping is based on combined weight of the pup and its kennel. Thus, making the shipping rate of $252.00. It is the Buyer’s Responsibility to pay for the shipping. A Certified Health Certificate must accompany the pet and a copy will be supplied to the Airlines when shipped, and that must be made 10 days maximum prior to shipping. The Health Certificate will be issued by a licensed Veterinarian.
** Please Note that when adopting a very small puppy, usually around that 1-2lb range, it is not advisable to ship a pup this small for stress alone could be very life threatening and therefore we will work with you on other travel arrangements. Our goal is to get your new bundle of joy home safely. Only the breeder can make this safe call as to whether your puppy should be flown.
Temperature Guidelines
Northwest and/or Delta personnel will determine if temperatures are within acceptable limits at time of check in. If the animal cannot be accommodated due to temperature limitations, Northwest/Delta personnel will work with you to arrange alternate dates for the animal to travel. Please remember, if Northwest/Delta determines that temperatures are unsuitable for transporting the animal, it is with the safety and health of the animal in mind. www.weather.com is a very good source to see hour to hour on temperatures and you will be able to see if your pet will be able to fly on the particular day that is set. Always remember to be patient, we don’t control Mother Nature and it’s in the best interest of the pup.
Temperature guidelines are based on the actual or forecasted temperature upon departure or arrival for each station on the itinerary. The temperature guidelines shown in the table below will apply to all animals shipped as VIP or General Cargo.
