Ear ‘Mazin Myths..........
It’s our job as dedicated breeders to SHOW you that a “Floppy” ear yorkie can change into a divine babe by simply having patience, and of course, knowledge, goes a LONG way. All babes grow at different speeds and time frames, just like our children. Looking at Libby and Hunter, you can see that they were born with their ears down (which is common) and at different stages of their lives, their ears came up. Not only is this simply interesting, factual and entertaining to see Libby and Hunter grow, but you will also see that both of their ears did come up. Therefore the “Ear ‘Mazin Myth” that if their ears are down when they are born or even at 12 weeks of age when you adopt a pup, doesn’t mean they won’t come up! It can take as long as six months of age for your babe to “adjust” to the fact that, “Hey, my ears are to stand!” At times, shaving the tips and taping the ears, are involved.
Please check our “Hot Tips” for more information about “Ears”.
